Arts Connection of Central Illinois has been established for the citizens of Effingham County and beyond to showcase arts and entertainment, to encourage interaction with and appreciation of live performance, to endorse the educational process and to enhance the quality of life and cultural vitality of the region. To support our mission, in addition to our season events we also offer a wide variety of local events and educational performances. There is something for everyone to enjoy at the Effingham Performance Center. In the interest of arts education, we also provide our Summer Theater Camp for students, a unique learning opportunity teaching a variety of performance and communication skills. He has never had a hit record and is rarely seen on television. But Shoji Tabuchi, a country fiddler, born and raised in Japan, is a legend in Branson. He is a master violinist and is unequaled anywhere for showmanship.
For 30 years, fiddler, and world-famous violin player Shoji Tabuchi has been performing at his own theater in Branson. You now have the opportunity to see him at the Effingham Performance Center in Effingham, IL.
While he grew up practicing and playing classical music and became famous for his remarkable talents on the violin, Shoji pursued his passion for country music to become one of the top fiddle players in the world!
